Euphorbia Marginata, also known as snow on the mountain, is a warm-weather annual that is indigenous to the prairies of the United States. With its medium green leaves in the spring, it gradually develops into showy, clean white margins that create a beautiful contrast.
The plant grows to a height of 1-3 feet and is usually unbranched beneath the inflorescence. From mid-summer to early fall, compound cymes of inconspicuous greenish-yellow true flowers bloom at the stem ends, which lack sepals or petals, and are not particularly attractive. Nevertheless, the flowers are subtended by long-lasting, petal-like white bracts (modified leaves) that are showy and provide the ornamental show. However, it's important to note that the plant sap is a milky juice that is toxic if ingested. Don't miss out on the opportunity to add this beautiful and hardy plant to your collection.
